We hosted a three-day multicultural wedding for Manisha and Aydin amidst the beautiful countryside of Hampshire. With the bride being Indian and the groom of Italian-Turkish descent, it was a fusion of Indian, Italian, and Turkish heritages with guests flying in from all over the world. The weekend started with a ‘white wedding’ ceremony, followed by an Italian and Turkish-inspired lunch in the beautiful conservatory of Elvetham Country House Hotel, styled to bringing the glorious gardens indoors. The next day, we gathered family and friends for a colourful Sangeet party - never to shy away from a bold colour palette, we used the best and most vibrant British blooms. Mannish, had her Mehndi artfully applied; friends performed choreographed dances, and the night rounded off with a full-on rave and fireworks. To conclude the three days of celebration, we set up a dinner in the property's library, adorned with gold details and bright florals, while transforming one of the drawing rooms into an atmospheric, blacked-out nightclub. It was a true Indian-Western fusion wedding that will linger in our memories forever.
